Art & Architecture of Goa
The capital city of Panjim has several squares, the houses lining them
rising directly above the wise streets. Particularly quaint is the old
residential area of Foutainahas, which lies behind the church and where
narrow cobbled alleys weave through a collection of closely-knot houses with
tiled-roofs, over hanging balconies and carved pillars.
Another place worth checking out is Old Goa popularly known as a noble city
full of beautiful buildings and palaces. |
